Re: Assetto Corsa
Yeah its not bad, handles a lot better with a controller than pcars, and yes you really have to change the way you drive, which is good.Still each game has it's pros and cons. Also i do like the fact that you can use the PS4 in house capture feature though not the clearest quality.Let us know how they feel with your new wheel mate

Re: Assetto Corsa
G'day mate,
are you using a D-pad on the DS4 ?
I sometimes use the right stick to steer on a gamepad but i cannot for the life of me use the dpad to steer.
Loving this game, I tried every car from slow to fastest on Silverstone National. I never really liked that track until now.
Currently enjoying the Red bull short course (on PC) with every car. I never noticed the height difference (hill
)on the first corner. It helps braking a lot.
Have fun !

Re: Assetto Corsa
I bought a new Logitech G29 wheel to go with the PS4.
It makes a huge difference. I have never used a controller for driving games. So I am comparing the G29 against a Logitech DFGT. The G29 is very precise, and in PCars it can be adjusted in various ways. I like a firm feel, some people like a light force through the wheel. I really can't find anything negative to say about the G29.
I admire all who drive so well with a controller, as it is simply beyond me, so all I can say, is that if anyone switches from a controller to a wheel and brings that talent across, then they will find that a wheel makes the games so much more realistic and enjoyable.
PCars is the closest to simulating real life driving, and I believe AC will be on a par, or perhaps even better but I have not had time to use AC much yet.
The downside is that I find GAS simply far too aracde-like now. Still a great game, but a simulation - no. For me it is 90% PCars, some Drive Club for casual fun, and more time needed to really get into AC.
